My name is Victor Yves. I am a Brazilian creative with a background in graphic design and art direction working as Group Creative Director at Publicis Canada.
I was born in a small city in Brazil called Arapiraca. If you are Brazilian, I know what you think. It's like Texas, but way hotter. I started my career before the university, as a nerd, working with my father making websites and a hundred-thousands-millions of stuffs to internet.
It was fun. And just for curiosity, my first HTML editor was Yahoo Geocities (if that can named as an HTML editor nowadays).
Moving forward. I decided go to university to study Graphic Design in Maceió. Just for curiosity again, the first course opened in the same year that I finished my high school. After that I moved to São Paulo to study an Art Direction specialization in Miami Ad School.
I had the opportunity to work with a wide range of global clients. From non-profit institutions, like National Geographic, to major brands such as Jeep, VISA, Heineken, Uber, Whatsapp From Facebook, Boehringer Ingelheim, Havaianas Alpargatas, Mars, AB InBev, Nestlé, Powerade, Whirpool and many more.
My work has been recognised by some of the most important advertising awards, such as D&AD, Cannes, The One Show, Clio, El Ojo, London Festival, CCSP and more.
And in 2019, I had the honor of being selected to be part of the Brazilian delegation that went to Cannes to compete in the Young Lions Competition.
I also had the opportunity to work at incredibles agencies as F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, Almap/BBDO, Foote Cone & Belding and Accenture Interactive.
My work has also been featured on some important media outlets as AOL News, Huffington Post, Fast Company, Mashable, The Drum, AdAge (Pick of the Day), Shots Magazine and Adweek.
