Fake News websites have become a profitable business. Disinformation leads to real life consequences. Sleeping Giants is a social media activism organization, who have already blocked millions of dollars from big-brand advertisers, and now they’ve created a tool that allows you to do the same. To fight against disinformation, we created a Google Chrome extension to help our readers to avoid financing fake news websites. When the user access a website that is flagged by Sleeping Giants for spreading fake news, we replace all the ads with our message. And all the ads led to pages with trusted independent journalism.
